temp guage not working :/

hi.........
iv got a 93 s10 4.3 cpi.
all my guages work except the temp.
does anyone know where the sender for it is...i cant find it.
is that the only reason i get no reading?
any thoughts would be appreciated.

One is probably by the thermostat housing, the other is probably on the side of one of the cylinder heads, One will be a 2 wire for Ecm one will be a Single wire for guage.

Is the sender broke or is the digital display?

no digi display......analog.
i dont know if its the sender,,,
was really wondering how many things make the temp guage work.....sender etc.

there are two temperature sending units, one for the computer and one for the gauge.

I would suggest you grab a haynes manual and it will tell you which one is which on your truck.

That or look for a broken wire.
