Tranny Fried

I've got a '92 F250 HD with the 460 ci FI engine and the Electric tranny 4 spd. with OD. My tranny died while towing. Where is the best place to find a rebuild kit and upgrade torque converter? I know checker and autozone have some but if I tear into this tranny what would be the best way to go, within reason of course. :eek7:

I'd say black box it and get a reman from Ford. That may not be within your reason though. Up to you. If you get one, they ususally have all the updated and sometimes upgraded stuff in 'em.
