Everybody can use a good deal.
GTX goes back in tomorrow morning, for a touch up. Read 1/4 and the door from the car wash. Maybe by Christmas I'll get some pictures. Had stock rims and spoiler lined up, but the guy backed out. I don't mind the spoiler, (stock). But the rims are a nice touch.

Thx BIG-L. We think it might be new struts that my 1998 GP GT needs. Car is making a crunching noise and is bouncy. Hubby will be looking at it closer tomorrow. Thanks again.

i just put ebachs on my car, i love them so kybs might come in spring time, because my car goes in storage in a few weeks. I HATE WISCONSIN WINTERS!!!!!

Car is making a crunching noise and is bouncy.

Dont forget when replacing the struts,you should also replace the strut mounts and bearings in the front and the strurt mounts in the back.

The crunching noise could also be,that the mounts are bad in the front.Also look for oil leaking out of the struts.From what ive read in the past,is that factory shocks are only good to about 30,000 miles.They are made very poorly and a new aftermarket set will improve the ride.

Ive had the GM Performance parts konis on my car since they were first released and its been almost 2 year's and they made a vast improvment over stock.

No everytime I get it back from the paint shop, they get it back the next week to repaint or something. Then you can't wax for 30 to 45 days. But I haven't had it back that long for any time. Bought car, took it in three days later. $2500.00 to paint. So far they have had it, in their hands for 45 days. I asked the guy today if he wanted to buy it. They have had it longer then I have.
Today it went back because a guy that the car wash slamed the door into a wall!!!!! They are paying for this. But they still have it.
Send all checks to: I WANT MY CAR BACK FUND.

jesus, i'd be pissed! that really stinks. well i'm anxious to see the pics, when you do finally get a chance to take them. i hope your paint luck gets better and whatever you do resist the urge to beat the car washer into a bloody pulp.

Regarding the KYB struts. Dumb question, but is there reputable place I can just take my car to and say "put on KYB struts, boots, etc."? If I wait for hubby to do it, i'll be waiting a long time.

Id check in your local Yellow Pages and most tire shops do them or also check out shops that specailize in alignment's.
