ODB II Code P0341

 The van runs fine but I got a code P0341. I reset it but it came back after about 100 miles. The description says "camshaft position sensor A curcuit range / performance bank 1 or single sensor.

Any ideas what it is and where it is?

Thanks

the cam sensor is in the top of the block on the passenger side, and attaches with one bolt. It senses cam timing and adjusts fuel/timing accordingly. Normally the vehicle will continue to run but it may suffer a slight mileage decline. It may be telling you that the timing chain has stretched and the cam is out of phase with the crank, if a new sensor doesn't fix the problem.

Can this cause fuel pump to whine? Mine sounded fine when I took it to dealer and when I got it back they said it had a bad camshaft position sensor.
