ignition coil burnout!

Hi Anyone with info would be helpfull,my ignition coil on my 95 riv.keeps burning out! I am on my third coil.My mechanic checked compression,vac.leaks and has found nothing. Please help!

If you find out, let me know! I keep an extra one and when I feel a slight miss under a light load, time for a new coil!
