Caribbean Newbie
Metro-Kiry

Hello there Ladies & Gentlemen:
I'm a recently registered newbie. Not accustomed to the 'dialect' used (abbreviatons) yet. My name is Kiry & yes, there are fem's who like mechanics. When a car I bought left me stranded in the middle of limbo land, I swore against car mech. ignorance & so started a new hobby! Yea, sometimes bad turns out for good.
My 3rd car is a red 94 Geo Metro 5 dr., & looks cute. When I bought it some yrs. ago, I thought it was as american as apple pie... Bad Deal! Turned out to have a Jap. engine & parts are expensive here in the Caribbean. Sorry forgot to say I'm in Puerto Rico. Ok, so what if I have a Junk Yard winner? It's economic.
But guys who talk to me call it 'Names' like: '3 potes' [3 cans] & 'Ņangara-GT' [good for nothing in other words]. There are moments in life one must breath deeply 10 times!
My purpose in registering is to communicate with Wiz Brains out there, who can tell me in detail how to do 'backward engineering' on it, from Fuel Inj. to Carburetor. There's no changing my mind. So, goodby for now. Luck to all. 'Hasta la vista... Babies'.
