my brother just picked up a 92 golf , 1.8, 8v, 5 spd, 2 dr, its not a gti. he was wondering if he should modify it or buy a gti? any feedback would be appreciated . and if does choose to modify where is a good place to go for parts? and what should he buy for it?

.... just make sure you do it right. go to vwvortex.com for more ;) lol

if not, then here you go, 2 of my favorite modded mk3s wait... '92 = mk3 right?... yeah i think so

Im in the same boat, same car 92 golf, not a gti and its automatic, I'm wondering what, if anything I should do to upgrade the performance/handling. I was also wondering about getting a new grill but would like to see some different options for my year of golf
Any help?
Thanx

well theres 2 typical types of grills u can look at single round or dual rounds....thats about all......and for performance intake and exhaust is always a good start...handling will be improved by a set of lowering springs......thats about all you should need for now.
