My intake on my 96 corolla has a big crack in it.. It runs great, is this going to hurt my car? Where can I get a better than OEM replacement?? Thanx

if the crack is after the air filter, then small particles could be drawn into yr engine-not good.
the stock intake can be replaced with k&n Filter unit.

if it's after the filter box duct tape it until you find a new intake. if you want an aftermarket one, just search ebay or put something like "93-97 Corolla Intake" in google. there's lots out there for cheap.

I agree, if it's just the plastic tubing then wrap that sucker with duct tape and call it a day. Dealerships will charge like 200-500 bucks for a full replacement!

try some high heat silicone sealant.. like some sort of caulking.... the only concern you should have with a cracked intake is a leak in the vaccum (this would cause poor idle) You should try to find out what caused the crack.. thats a very strange thing to happen. Did someone wash the engine while it was still hot?
