Here's a car i been working on for about a week. Its a standard 40' Ford kit. So far i have chopped the top and set up the suspension. I primed the car after i chopped the top and sanded it so i could see what needs to be done. heres the pixs. comment/suggestions

Fantastic work. Its hard to get me really excited about a new model concept nowdays, but this is unbelieveable!
First of all the rake and the stance is PERFECT!! like from the old hot rod masters themselves! The steelie rims with wide white wall is perior perfect and finally the top is chopped expertly.
Welcome to AF and please post more and more pics of your projects and more in-progress shots!!
Thanks again for sharing.

Great work so far!! all I see is you might need to smooth out the top of the drivers door a bit more, other than that it looks Fantastic, I like those white walls also!!

Hey,
That looks really sweet!! Keep it in teh primer. Keep the rims. Everything looks great..that bump over the door needs a fixin tho. But, I've never done a chop before, so what you have looks beautiful to me. Keep up the great work.

Kicks ass, looks better than some of the real '40 Street Rods!
(I noticed your name is lancer07, drop the Lancers and Imports, stick to hot rods.)

Nice, I'm amazed at how much this and my 41 willys look alike. I do like the willys a little more, except for the front grill. Nice Progress. Any info on how you chopped the top?

Looks great. I don't know what future plans you have for it, but it looks totally hot painted as it is. Those wide whites, where'd you find them? The chop is good, too, save for the mentioned flaw. But the roof is a great angle, makes the car look mad aggressive.

Looks good....leave it in primer or go for a matt black with those white walls

Impressive top chop, just some little touch ups and itīll be perfect!
I agree with others about the wheels but the suspension have to be adjusted on the front a bit, othervise it would be kinda hard to make any turns with this beauty:D

good chice putting a flathead in there.. when wiring the enigne, try to make the wires look like they are "slacked" or handing down. Its important to achieve that draping look in order to make it more realistic. Otherwise, clean job detailing.
