Brakes

The front disc brakes pull real hard to the left under heavy braking but are completely fine under normal day to day driving. Time for new pads or can I adjust the brakes? I know I can on the drum brakes of my 67 mustang but that's comparing apples and oranges...

Also, when I have it in 4wd it pulls to the left as well. It's a gradual increase in the pull, probably about every 50 feet it comes and goes. I haven't used it in a while. Last time I used it was on ice and I felt it pull and later ended up in a dtich. I don't know anything about 4wd cars so any help you can offer will be appreciated.

thanks

Nick

There are no adjustments for disk brakes. If the brakes are pulling, there is something wrong. You might have a gunked up caliper. It's best to just replace the calipers instead of trying to rebuild them yourself. You can tell if a caliper is bad if there is brake fluid leaking or one of the pads is worn down more than the other.
