stereo codes

I recently changed the battery on my 00 intrigue and now the stereo will not work. Are there any codes that I need to enter into the stereo to make it work? I heard that there is a code but I don't know anything about it.

You can take it to any GM dealer and they will unlock the radio for a fee?, or go online and there are many hack sites who will be glad to unlock the radio. just do a search on "unlock radio".

The owner's manual describes the procedure; as does a thread either here or @ oldsmobileforums.com. If you don't know the code - which is set by the owner, then I guess you are SOL. Then I guess you must take it to dealer or stereo shop.
