02 ranger cd player won't work

Just recently my cd player has stopped working its the in-dash 6cd player....everytime I try to play any one of them it comes up cd error....I have one slot open and if I try to move it to that spot to put a new cd in just to see if it works it again says cd error....

is their a cd stuck perhaps? and I haven't enterted any cds with labels on them so I don't think that would be the problem unless someone is wrong with the gears in the actually 6cd changer .... if so does anyone know where it is exactly located....Thanks :screwy:

my stock single disk did this when it got warm. they hava a prob w/stereo getting warm from heater. should be a recal but its not. see if dealer will replace under waranty?

Well I found the problem ... just took the whole cd player out and opened it up ... your right it was getting hot cause the cds was melting the labels actually on them not like a custom label and it had jammed it up just took all the cds out and aligned everything back to normal and its working fine again :)
