Whatsup everybody? Has anyone installed an aftermarket spoiler on your hatch? I bought a jun spoiler for my 98 hatch, and it doesn't bolt up right. There is a big space where the spoiler meets the top of the car. It looks horrible. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks

did you buy an actual Jun one or a knockoff? Some of the knockoffs out there have horrible fitment. Where did you get it from?

When you bought the spoiler, did the add say "Jun style spoiler", or "Jun spoiler"? If it said "Jun style", then it's a fake. This is a common tactic on eBay for most bootleg companies. You can also look and see if the item has a stamp or sticker telling where it was made. Most fakes aren't made in Japan.

Sometimes you get decent quality, sometimes you don't. My sugestion would be to always check the feedback of the seller before buying a knock-off product on eBay. Again, you can get good deals, but sometimes you get what you paid for. Sorry man.

If it is in fact a Jun product, then they should replace the item due to faulty fitment.

I do beleive it is a knock-off, got it off ebay for 80 or 90 bucks, my other spoiler has some scratches. I'm not sure if I'm even going to install it. Check out ebay, it's the 28.00 jun style spoiler. Maybe next time I'll spend the extra money for the real deal. Anyone wanna buy my spoiler? jk, thanks for the replys, peace

or, you could bring it to a fabrication shop. A good shop might be able to make it fit. I know this seems like your just wasting more money, but if a shop can fix it for a good price, it might be worth it. If you resell it to someone else on eBay, we'll just have this same discusion with a new person next week. Does the outcome justify the means?

JDM nutt...
and you called me immature in that other thread for something i didn't even do

Taking it to a bodyshop and having it fitted will be a waste of money. If it's fiberglass, they will charge you up the ass to rework it to fit, and if it's made of polyurethane there's really nothing you can do to make it fit.

,but if it's plastic (like most fakes are) it can be molded and fitted. Listen, it could easily cost a couple of hundred dollars to it fix. If so, then it's not worth it, but if it can be fixed for 50 or 60 dollars it might be. I just wanted to give him more options than ripping off the next guy. He wouldn't have started this thread if he wasn't looking for a way to keep the spoiler. I gave him options!

i never suggested ripping another guy off. Honest sellers go farther than dishonest ones, that a given.

You state in your product description that the reason you are selling it is because it didn't fit well, some other guy may want to buy it and work with it as a DIY or something.

Dudes, I REALLY would rather keep the spoiler. It's not plastic, and not fiberglass, It's like a metal piece that is primed, pretty light. I might give it another try, let it roll for a couple days and see how many people laugh at me.

If you want to keep it, take it by a shop and find out how much to fabricate it. Can't hurt to ask.

So yours has that big ugly space, I'm having a hard time dealing with that. If you have any pictures, I'd like to see it installed on your car. Thanks for the reply......
