I have a 2001 BMW 325i Sedan. I am looking to purchase replica M series 5 spoke (Style 68) 17 x 7.5 Alloy wheels from wheelexchange.com with Pirelli P6000 tires. Highlinewheels.com offers 17 x 8 in the same replica.

Question 1: Will i have a compatibility problem? Is there certain specs. like a specific offset I should be looking for? My existing wheels are stock 16 x 7 alloy.

Question 2: If I were to purchase these wheels OEM, they would be 17 x 7.5 in front and 17 x 8 in rear. Should I have a concern over not having the wider wheel on the rear if I buy the replicas from wheelexchange.com. Which would be better, the 17 x 7.5 on all 4 or the 17 x 8?

Hope you can help....THANK YOU!

I would suggest using a 17x8 with a 40mm offset on all four corners. It doesn't make any sense to use a 7.5 in the front and an 8 in the rear. If you want a wider rear wheel use a 17x9 in conjunction with the front 17x8
