my alarm is still on and wont let me start car!!...

My alarm is still on and it won't let me start my car. My remote looks like it's busted and it won't unlock and turn the alarm off. So someone had the smart idea of snipping the wires for the alarm siren. Thank God because it kept going on and off throughout the night. Does anyone know how to disable the alarm system so I can start up my car again? thanks...

What kind of alarm do you have? basically you must have a kill switch, or relay hooked up to your alarm and since you had to snip the wires, the kill switch is turned on, meaning you wont be able to start your car. Disconnect the brain from everything, you should have done this in the first place, now you are going to have to go back and solder the connections you snipped, but yeah just disconnect it and you should be fine, you will need a new remote though, and then just program it to your alarm through your valet switch.
