puttin on new acura emblems

any special tool/technique u guys use to ply off the old emblems so that u dont scrape off the paint too?

Use a heat gun so that it will loosen the adhesive on the emblem. Then pull it off with some gloves on or gently pry it with a flat head screwdriver with a rag wrapped around the end. Then after the emblem is off and the surface has cooled down clean it real well with a alcohol prep from a first aid kit. Now you are ready to put the new one on.

Yes fishing line will work fine too, but be sure to wear some leather gloves.

i used a nail filer to ply it off...didnt make any scratches...i wouldn't recommend this, but it works fine for me
