Just saw this in another thread and this is the perfect photo to see what a leaking regulator on a Vin W CPI injector does,

See the clean spots, that is leaking gas washing the plenum. This is bad.
No leaks and the whole thing would be very dirty.

replacing the cpi reg is easily enough too, just takes about an hour if you don't rush yourself

Yip, I took about 2 but I really was pacing myself so I didn't screw anything up.
