Best headers? Where to get them?

Well, I've got a 98 GT. I've got flowmaster 40's and high flow cats. I'm looking to get a pair of headers, but I don't know if i should get shorty headers or long tube. And what's the difference? And what brands do you suggest?

JBA, BBK, Bassani all make good exhaust components. You may want to also throw in a good H or X pipe to free up some flow otherwise the headers won't do too much. The stock H pipe is fairly restrictive on flow. The difference as follows:

Long Tube (better performance):
adds 20-25 hp
they are longer and can scrap the ground on speed bumps if not careful
they are louder than shorties

Shorties:
adds 5-10 hp (more like 5)
they are short
equal length shorties are better than unequal (this is the length of each tube.
