Denali Cluster swap, HELP!

I just bought the denali cluster for my Silverado mainly for the trans temp gauge, I was all excited and hooked it up and Voilá! the trans temp gauge works, but there is one big BUT, my truck doesnīt come equipped with the "low coolant" switch or the "low washer fluid" switch, so these two messages are on all the time on the message center, Iīm sure that if I ground those two connectors Iīll make the messages dissappear, but does anybody know the pinout designation for the cluster so that I can find the terminals without sending my new cluster to the trash? help!! :crying: :shakehead

GMīs fantastic idea, EXPORT model only, itīs a 2000 2WD with 5.7 liter vortec, (yes it is a VIN R), didnīt come with DRLs, those switches, plain mirrors, and without basically ANY confort feature whatsoever, guess we donīt deserve all the perks in our trucks in Mexico even though they are 50% more expensive over here, sniff :crying:

Iīll take some pictures tomorrow, a 350 (5.7L)engine in a new body style, also it has a v6 setup (alternator to the left side looking inside the engine compartment, compressor to the right) and itīs all stock!

did you have to get the new cluster programmed with the info (miles/hours) off your old cluster? I was wanting to do the swap but cant afford the down time getting the info swaped.

Sorry for getting back so late guys, I was out partying :naughty: :evillol:
Couldnīt take the pictures today, Iīll do it tomorrow. I bought the truck in Mexico, the 350 engine was built in either Pachuca or Silao, Mexico, so the 350 was still an option back in the 2000 model year down south, mainly because in wasnīt used in the US anymore, so they had to do something with their existing 350 inventory, (I even saw a red V6 with a manual 5 speed transmission when I was shopping around). I havenīt reprogrammed the cluster yet, I figure I will drive this truck until it gets stolen, totalled or the engine falls off (in which case Iīll buy another engine) so Iīm not that concerned about reprogramming it. If I do have to sell the truck for some reason, Iīll give the new guy both clusters and maybe heīll pay for the new program.

It has been raining all week, finally the sky cleared up and I was able to take the pictures, notice the engine is all dirty since water gets all over the place with the flash flooding and all that, but here is my 5.7 litre engine with a V6 configuration, notice the propane conversion on it, I loose about 10% of hp, but propane is around a buck a gallon and the mileage is about the same.

you like? check out www.dualcurve.com, itīs the equipment I put in my truck, what it does is it advances the timing because propane burns slower than gasoline and it cleans your engine, no gas gets into the oil to ruin it, no carbon deposits, less piston slap compared to the day I bought it, you wonīt be jumping off the line, you will lose about 7-10% of HP, but heck, every oil change I make every 5,000 miles, the guy asks me why am I changing brand new oil, because it comes out clean as a whistle, my dad had a C1500 truck for 400,000 miles with the same engine (work truck that didnīt stop all day), and he had to replace the rear end twice before that engine gave out, personnally I love it, propane is cheap around here and I save on oil, plugs, tune ups, you name it.

Well, thatīs what I bought it for, but I think Iīm going to post mine on ebay to sell it, cheaper obviosly since Iīve used it for almost 1,000 miles, having the low coolant light always on and measuring distances in miles is driving me crazy :screwy: :eek7: So Iīll take it off the truck this weekend and try to get one in kilometers. Iīll let you guys know the item number in case you want to bid on it.
