I have an intersting idea of running my exhust out the sides of the car, is this possiable? (4th gen 2000 v-6) i thought it would look intersting and sound unlike other maros. Any yays or nays?

nay, side pipes will always look best on the old school muscle cars, especially the model T.

i wouldnt reccomend it. If you want a different look run em down the middle like the SS style.

Ive seen DIY sidepipe jobs on some 3rd gens.. But its hard to hide the pipe and mufflers so they'l be visable.. didnt look very good.. I dont imagine theres any more room under a 4th gen

If you drive your car in winter, apparently it causes problems with the moisture from the exhaust icing up the rear brakes..

Very good point about the iceing, Then again i want to have the rs body kit with holes so i could put polished or something tips in them. as seen on some now a day cars/trucks. For instence, the Lightning or The SS s10. Or like the mudstain, but ya know. But i thank you guys for your advice Also another questions, how do the 94 birds and maros lt1 handle in power and movement wise?

actualy, i have looked at this idea before, and there is an option, although i havent really tried it, get in touch with www.musclemotorparts.com they sell used nascar parts, including very low profile side exit exhaust setups which would fit under the 4th gen camaro's. although for my money, i would prefer the www.GMMGinc.com chambered exhaust system, but thats just me.

i dont see you being able to do one pipe on each side, cause of the drivetrain. but the dual pipes on one side like the NASCAR pipes would prolly be just as cool. i would have to say that i might not be worth the effort on the v-6. prolly wont sound as nice...
