Here is one of my current projects. Its a Fujimi Spoon Sports Honda Integra Type R. Im changing some of the spoon parts, like keeping the stock mirrors and using Tamiya Mugen MF10 Wheels. Don't worry im sure as hell keeping the Spoon Sports front lip on this DC2 :iceslolan The ride height is already set and ready for paint. The color is Dupli Color Honda Artic Silver Metallic, liked this color soo much that i painted two models with it :) The seats will be from the Aoshima Drift Parts Set and are currently primered with Tamiya Fine Surface Primer and will be painted with Tamiya Acrylic Flat Red. Steering wheel will also be from the Aoshima Drift Parts Set. The Exhaust will be an N1 Exhaust from the Fujimi GTW-Wing Set and Muffler Set. Headlights will be painted by airbrush with Alclad II Chrome. Still wondering wether is should paint the roof Nighthawk Black Pearl or leave it like that or also go with the Carbon Hood.

What do you guys think :p

The car is not clear coated yet.

It looks killer with that ride height!
Will you paint the wheels, or leave them so?

I was debating on wether to paint them bronze or leave them as they are. I'll see once i paint the brakes, since now the brakes are all yellow they give the rims a funky look :cwm27: If it looks good or my lazyness kicks in i'll leave them gold.

I would paint them bronze, the color looks off from the real mugens.

Very sharp looking! I love the spoon DC2. I would also recomend painting those mugens a more healthy bronze, the color on them out of the box is putrid :disappoin

Yea i thought the same. If you look inside the wheels you could tell that the wheels weren't even fully painted. Alteast mine don't have that strong color effect.

Yea this kit comes with plenty of parts. Two different styles of mirrors, Spoon Sports Mirrors and Integra Type R Mirrors. Two different styles of seats, Recaro's and the good ol Integra seats :evillol: Two different Steering wheels. Two different types of Shift Knobs, Spoon and Integra Type R. But i was suprised that it didn't come with stock Integra Type R wheels, it just came with Spoon Wheels. In my case two of the wheels were damaged :banghead: Suspension wasn't soo difficult to lower. I took the easy way and just took out the springs and cut everything and glue'd the suspension to the height i wanted it.

Little Update:

I airbrushed Tamiya X-34 Metallic Brown over the gold that the rims came in. I also Airbrushed some Tamiya XF-7 on the Seats< I'll get pictures of the seats once they are done since i now have to paint the back black to make the Carbon Fiber impression since i ran out of CF :icon16:

Well here are some pictures of the wheels on the car. Im not too happy with how they came out, I might do a light coat of gold over them to get them to look more goldish and less orange. In the picture they look soo different, they look better in the picture than in real life  . The seats are also unfinished.

I fixed the color of the wheels by spraying some Buckskin on it. I also applied some decals on the car. The Type R decal for the left side fell off:( But that will be fixed soon since i want to clear coat this baby and finish it.

Thanks guys,

Next up will be the windows, want to finish that early since its one of the hardest part. I'll have to wait for almost a week to do any progress on the body since i have to wait for the decal for the left side to arrive from HLJ so i could then clear coat it and move on to the headlights. I forgot to mention that the brakes were also painted with Aclad 2 Chrome, I might do a light coat of smoke on them though because they are a bit on the bright side.

Once again thanks for the comments:)

Thanks everyone!,

For this Integra i think i will keep it nice and simple without CF hood. On my future Integra's i'll make a full Spoon edition and maybe a Mugen Edition if i find one with reasonable price.

Gorgeous. There's just something so wonderfully elegant about a subtly modifried Honda that Nissans and Toyotas can never have. The designs are so simple and straightforward that the simplest mods lead to the greatest results. I am glad someone else here shares in good Honda taste, and I've loved all of the Hondas you've put together lately. Keep it up.

More Progress:

The wheels have been blackwashed and a light mist coat of Smoke was given to them also, all they need is the light blue lug nuts and the black center cap and they are complete. The brake disks were also sprayed with smoke to give them a used look.

I might change these wheels to the MUGEN Integra i just ordered so it could be full Mugen and use Spoon SW-388's or Advan RG's on this one. An unexpected deal turned up that i couldn't resist :cwm27:

BAD NEWS:

I clear coated this model with Dupli Color clear coat and the paint got stains. I might put the body in DOT3 and start all over with the paint. :banghead: I have a can of Ultramarine Blue and another can of Nighthawk Black Pearl (04 Si Color). Which do you guys think will suit this baby best? If i dont paint this one Black i will paint the EG6 black. They were my "backup" colors if this Silver was to fuck up. The thing that i think messed the paint up was the Tamiya Primer. I should've stuck with everything Dupli Color :banghead: This goes to show me that i have to stop mixing brands. :nono:

Here is the body dropped in DOT3. The color will be Nighthawk Black Pearl :grinyes: I might lay the first coat of primer tomorrow. This picture was when i had just dropped the body in DOT3 and you could still tell how the previous silver had been stained in the roof. It seemed as if the roof has had snow stuck to it:(

Ok the car is stripped completely and is currently in the Food Dehydrator since i sprayed Black Primer on it so i could later spray the Nighthawk Black Pearl. I was suprised how good DOT3 was. Makes me want to strip some of the models that i have completed already and do a better paint job on them now that i have more experience :iceslolan

Ok so i let the primer dry then sprayed the NightHawk Black Pearl and its currently again in the Food dehydrator so then i could spray the clear coat whenever i receive the Decals for it. Here is how the black looks. The picture sucks and couldn't capture the little pearl effect.

Oh woops, i forgot to say that i was test fitting those wheels since i had just got them in the mail. They are S2000 stock rims and i might use them on another Integra and wanted to see how they looked. They are getting sprayed with silver though.

Just turn on the water and place the model under running water and while the water is running through it sand lightly. Saves sandpaper and doesn't leave much scratches :sunglasse

Thanks guys, now this might be a bit disappointing for some, but i decided not to use the Mugen wheels on this ITR and leave it off for the Mugen ITR i have. To replace the wheels i will use some Wheels that came with my R32 skyline which have polished lips and black center.
