Ok my car is a 98' eclipse RS and my problem is that it leaks oil so i took it to a mechanic and he told me that it was a manuefacturer problem to take it to the dealer and they would probably fix it(still haven't gone,b/c i got no warranty obviosly) it this true do they have a manuefacturer problem or the guy was an asshole & didn't no shit?

i can't really give alot of info because i can't find where its leaking from yet, as soon as i find it i will post from where it's leaking. All i know now is that its leaks whenever it wants and also its takes about 5-6 months before about 3/4 of the oil is gone.

my current oil leak is where my oil pump meets my oil pan. just another thing to add to the list.
