When the bulb went out on our Grand prix, we went back to the dealership and the guy just put a new one in. No paperwork and free of charge... Is it still under 3-year warranty?

Warranty will replace any bulb that is not made to be replaced by the owner. I had a camaro that I had to take to the dealer everytime a foglamp burned out. After the warranty, I just quit using them, cost $100 each time after the warranty ended. I haven't even bothered using the foglights on my new Cavalier.

park car... put e-brake on..lay on your back on the ground... under the front bumper of your car... wiggle your way under... locate fog light duh.... read numer off the base of the bulb... get off the ground.. get in car and drive to auto parts store... buy new bulb with that number and make sure you stay same wattage... or you could melt the housing.... park car... put e-brakr back on.... lay on back once more... get under the front bumper... unscrew bulb from housing...do touch the bulbs with your fingers.... replace as taken out... make sure the connection is tight.... get off ground... get in car... turn fog lights on.... smile at a job well done...!

As I said in my last post it may not be a owner replaceable bulb. Some things GM does just so they can make extra money.

Had to change bulbs on my 02 as well. I didn't pull the entire assy, but could see where that could be easier. I just basically worked by 'brail' and felt around. I'm guessing that your's has the ground effects kit under the front. If so, you will have to stick your arm in more in the center of the bumper, and feel your way over to where the lamps are, as there are plastic 'plates' right under the lamps themselves. I was not able to even see mine from the back, just found the wiring finally and followed it down to the lamps. Bulb should be a #893, but could possibly be different. Just make sure to put back in what you take out.
