Civic drivers just give other civic drivers a bad name!

I was going home last night around 8:00 after hitting Toys R Us (SRS rules) I was just cruising home along a four lane street in very light traffic. these two civics blow past me , both flashing thier lights and I let em go cause they looked like real shit buckets. well about four blocks later I catch a red light and am all the way on the far left lane, one of the civics is on the far right, I can see him glanzing over at me and starts reving the engine loud as hell. I look over and motion with my finger to "SHUSH". the guy laughs and peels out, I let him go. he pulls like way ahead and turns on his emergency light. I catch up to him side by side at another red light. he yells out "thats twice I beat you"
Im like "twice?" "when the fuck did we race ?"
him:"I flashed my lights and you backed down you fagot"
me:"dude you where already going over 80, I was doing 50, thats not a race thats a ricer fly by"
him:"well I flashed my lights and you backed down, I win if you chicken out"
me: "your rust bucket isnt worth my time"
him:" then I reved my engine and you backed down again, thats twice you chicken out, your shit sucks, you should learn to drive before you get into a car like that"
me: "ok you wanna race? I'm gonna make you fucking cry from how bad I'm gonna stomp you"
light goes green and I kill him, no need to give details, I had him 1st, 2nd, 3rd I didnt even red line any gears and by the time I got into 4th I could barely make out his head lights from the rest of the cars on the road. well I keep driving and about 2 miles down he passes me (again I was doing 50 he passed me slow like doing 55) then gets in front of me and turns on his emergency lights. I pull up next to him again.
him: you didnt win you dumb ass, you forgot to turn on your blinkers, the race is not over until you hit the blinker!"

Looks like someone has been watching too many street racing videos. The race is over when your opponent is ten freaking bus lengths back not when the winner slows down and the looser does a ricer fly by and turns on his blinkers two miles later. I guess those are NHRA rules, have to flash your blinkers or you lose. Doesn't matter if you trap first, you still lose.

it was lightly modded at best, stock engine for sure, catback, dropped on steelies (cut springs probably) maybe an intake and an unpainted bodykit, the car was like maroon colored with spots of primer here and there but it has like 8-10 hp over stock at best.

i hate guys like that, they give other honda drivers a bad name, thats why there is so much smack talk against civics man, they drag down all the respectable tunners.

Those are the idiots that i hate... too many of them here in mobile too... Especially since last night that shit almost happened to me (i've been i nthe hospital since wednesday due to an accident at work) but my girl was driving me around town in her 01 tiburon when some idiot in a 91 crx drives by almost clipping her front passenger side... I'm pissed by then because we almost got hit, and she's pissed because that car is her baby. She stopped racing a long time ago, but something about that idiot reverted her...

At the light i roll down the window and scream out "dude what's your fucking problem" the two sideways cap need 4 speed wannabe's turn down the techno (it's too popular here in the ricer scene) and go "we beat your civic!" (we were going 40 miles an hour in a 45 because of traffic) i'm like "dude, you know nothing about cars.. This is a Hyundai Tiburon but i'll let you believe whatever you want." There was no traffic so my girl goes "i want to race them" and i yell out "how about this. whomever get's to the end of this lane here last will put a 20 into the winner's gas tank." they laugh and go "sure" (this is a 2 lane that becomes one an we were in the main lane... they were on the bad end of it from the start) my girl didn't like that idea just incase she lost, but by the looks of the 91 crx all they had done was give it a gay paint job (hot pink) and threw an exaust pipe on the end. Sounded stock to me. they revved and when the light turned green, we floored it. By around 50mph we were 2 lengths on them and when it came to the merging point, we were already like 2.5 ahead. for shits and giggles, i put on the emergency blinkers (just had to .... don't know why, but i just did) however, these idiots didn't like that. we slowed down to the limit (45) and they did some idiotic swerve and cut across the median attempting to pass us. Thankfully my girl can drive and avoided a stupid accident and since they didn't pay up, i gave her a 10 for gas to make up for the trouble they caused (hey, i was doped up on perscribed medication)
on the way back from her place (we just went to get a movie to bring it back to my place) we saw at the end of an intersection of that particular blvd, their crx beside 2 cop cars... some kids never learn..

It was a winter in oregon. I dont know what i was doping but we (me and my freind {freinds driving}) anyways we were driving down some expressway going home from some 7-11. then this Camaro. we were in a tuned and modded rx-7. Then this guy blinks his headlights and at the stoplights revs. so we take his challenge. didnt seem stock. Then we went. Red, Green, then boom both of the cars were neck in neck. then my freind put the gas all the way and shifts. then bam!, we were in head by 1 car.then 2 cars. then 3 cars. after a couple of seconds we were 5 cars ahead. then we slow down for the next traffic light. and then this civic pops by. then the camaro revs again. So all three of the cars rev.(civic,camaro,rx7) Then on green the civic poped the clutch and burns out then goes. some how my freind was also slow at take off and the cam was 1/2 a car ahead. so he put the pedal dow and the engine raors and then we almost catch up when we se the cops some miles ahead. so we slow down. then the cicvic blows by. the po;ice get him. he just yells out at us, " I beat you, you mutha Fuc*ers.Haha!"

lol i love people like that...one time, my best friend was just drivin (he's got a 92 SL2 with a 4" 'fart can' on it) and some focus with a partially finished bodykit and exhaust revs his engine and takes off...needless to say, a couple miles down the road, the focus was pulled over, my best friend laughed, and then floored it for a second after passin them, makin both the guy and the cop look...hahaha (but then he let off)

I have a touring model reliability mods plus apexi intake, hks downpipe, greddy exaust. thats all I dare to do to it because i don't have the money to start replacing motors left and right. I'll be selling this car soon for a 350z or an evo8 i'm leaning towards the z though.

Hey there's nothing wrong with having a $35k car as there is always going to be someone faster atleast you still have a nice car. I do agree however that the "i'm the shit" feeling will be wiped off your face pretty quickly.

Name a 3k car that a 400whp evo or a 350z is going to get it ass handed to it by Landoawd.

Name a 400 wHP Evo or 250z that costs 35k

and a Dsm with about 6-10 grand invested in it +1-2k for the car will toast it.
