The V6 was made by Yamaha, the V8 by Ford, The V6 came with 300hp, ford brought it down to 220hp cuz it was more powerful than all their V8s, and also said to be too strong of an engine to put in a sedan, so they made them weaker. And to add insult to injury, after de-tunning the SHO block, they put a clutch from a F*****G escort on it, how dumb is that????????????

speaking of rotaries, even though it is german design, no other company besides mazda made the engine run smoothly, strong and relativle* relieble. No other company made the motor in mass production either.

It's an efficient power-making engine, but the problem in making it make power AND use gasoline efficiently is going to be hard to solve... if it will even ever happen. I think Ford toyed around with it for awhile... but decided it wasnt worth it.

Ever wonder why probes are FWD? that's to make the car cheaper for marketing reasons... basically, you doesn't need a rear def and a driveshaft which in return makes the car cheaper to build...resulting in a cheaper car. A 240sx on the other hand... is a sports car. Hence, the RWD layout. I would say a RWD car is much more enjoyable than a FF. but that's because i'm into drifting.. and you may not be. So have u seen well-known american muscle cars that are FF (chargers, challengers, gto, etc...)? how about Dragsters? Funny cars? shiet.. i would even go far as Nascar?
