1991 S-10 Blazer 4x4 Doesnt Work!

Ive had my Blazer for a while now and the 4 wheel drive used to work. As I used it more and more it has taken longer and longer to engage. Now when I move the lever into 4hi or 4lo it doesnt engage at all. The light next to the 4hi and 4lo shows up but the LED display of the tires doesnt light the front tires up and they dont engage. PLEASE HELP!! Thanks in advance.

Check the actuator for the front axle. It is located under the battery. Start up the vehicle, engage the 4WD and get a mirror to look under the battery box. The actuator should be pulled back.

sounds like you have a bunch ofvacuum lines rotting out.

time to change them all.
