Ok. I'm new to this Forum, but not new to Civics. Ive got an '89 Civic H/B DX. And Ive got a 90 Acura Integra LS----whole car. Im wanting to swap as much as possible from the 'Teg to the Civic, e.g. #1 engine & tranny(of course), front seats(better hugging), front and rear disc brakes, and possibly the dash or instrument cluster.
Ive already gotten a mount kit for the engine, all new gaskets(including timing belt and water pump), OBXR ceramic header with matching stainless catback exhaust, and Meagan adjustable cam gears. Ive read you have to make a dent in the driver side frame rail for clearance of the alternator pulley. Is this true and if so can anybody tell me how far back on the frame or show any pics? Also will the 'Teg's axles not work in my Civic? They have the same amount of teeth. Or are they to long? I dont think I have to fool with the wiring because Ive already change all of it when I had a ZC in it. Correct me if I'm wrong. Well i think these questions will keep a few people busy, so I'll stop for now. Any help will be appreciated

you already got the mount kit so thats good. you can use the stock shift linkage and cut it or extend it i forget which on you have to do, or you can buy one depending on what mount kit you have. yes you can use the integra axles you just gotta take out the dust cover on the hubs when you look at the hubs from the inside theres alittle cover you can take off. also with the wiring, the zc cps i believe its called is on the end of the cam but on the b18a its in the dist so you gotta take the 2 wires and stick them to the dist, hopefully you used hte same color code so all you gotta do is match colors. use the teg fuel line, and vacuum but you can also use the civics one and kinda rewire the vacuum lines. yes you do gotta make a small dent, not too much, and you can also use a shorter belt, maybe indent it like half inch or so. use the throttle and clutch cable from the integra.
hmmm, thats all i can think of off hand. i did this swap like 2 years ago so my memory is alittle rusty

So Am I......this Sensor Is Also On The End Of The Exhaust Cam. The Integra Motor Had A Hole For It On The End Of The Cam, But It Was Plugged "professionally" With J.b. Weld....ha-ha. I'm Going To Try To Put The Sensor Off The Zc On The 'teg Engine. If It Dont Fit I'll Find An Actual Plug To Fit The Hole.

on the 90 ls motor this sensor is in the dist, so all you gotta do is take those 2 wires and connect them to the dist wires for the sensor
