Ok. I'm new to this Forum, but not new to Civics. Ive got an '89 Civic H/B DX. And Ive got a 90 Acura Integra LS----whole car. Im wanting to swap as much as possible from the 'Teg to the Civic, e.g. #1 engine & tranny(of course), front seats(better hugging), front and rear disc brakes, and possibly the dash or instrument cluster.
Ive already gotten a mount kit for the engine, all new gaskets(including timing belt and water pump), OBXR ceramic header with matching stainless catback exhaust, and Meagan adjustable cam gears. Ive read you have to make a dent in the driver side frame rail for clearance of the alternator pulley. Is this true and if so can anybody tell me how far back on the frame or show any pics? Also will the 'Teg's axles not work in my Civic? They have the same amount of teeth. Or are they to long? I dont think I have to fool with the wiring because Ive already change all of it when I had a ZC in it. Correct me if I'm wrong. Well i think these questions will keep a few people busy, so I'll stop for now. Any help will be appreciated.

hey wha sup, when i swap a b18a1 to my crx, you have to make a dent where the altenator pulley is heres the link
http://www.hasport.com/Tech/Installs/EFB1.htm
now with the axles, i had to take the CRX si front rotors and all,cuz teeth didnt match, for the integra axles to fix. i have put the integra axles on it, my car rides to ruff, when u hit a dipp, it feels like its slammin the car down, hard, imagine your backing up the trailor, and if you cut it all the way the tires rides side ways and screech, right , now me, turn the wheel all the way to the left or right, does the same thing, i need help there. any suggestions anyone
sorry so long, i hope this helps you

are your struts good? or do you have adjustable coil overs? the car might be too low to give good suspension travel and wheel turning clearance.

yeah i would lift it up so you dont scrape a hole in your oil pan or something. What all do you have done to your CRX?

Is the teg tranny auto or manual, and is your civic autoi or manual? The reason I ask is because if both cars are manual you will need a hasport shift linkage. Or you can mod the teg one to fit. and yes you do need to dent the drivers side in I believe about 1/2" to an 1" for clearance.

both are manual ....i think im going to try modifying the 'teg linkage
