Okay here goes.......I got a '78 K10 and I know it needs front end work because the steering wheel jerks when turning (sometimes worse than at other times), the ball joints are shot and just because of the age of the truck. Question is, what exact parts replacement constitute a front end job on this truck? Also, how difficult is it to replace the front wheel bearings (4X4)?
Any info anybody can provide would be helpful, thanks in advance.

for parts your probly looking at ball joints, tie rod ends, maybe bushings but not usually, maybe u-joint etc.
the front wheel bearings pretty much the same as a 2 wheel drive truck except on some models theres a snap ring inside the hub that can be real pain to get out. under that it's just nut that holds pressure on the bearings. put in new races and bearings and ya should be good to go.
