Passenger Window Stuck Open - How do I get it up?

The back window on the Passenger side of my 1997 Rodeo decided not to go back up today. It's not supposed to rain until Saturday, but I was hoping somebody would know a way that I could force the window up until I have a chance to get it repaired next week.
I already have the door halfway ripped apart. It sounds like the motor works for a second or two each time I try to use the switch, but the window only moves up and down about a quarter of an inch each way.
So...Please...If anyone knows a way that I can just get the dang window up, it would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

pull the door panel off unscrew the window from the regulator use a 2x2 or broomstick to hold it but you may want to just repalce the regulator its about $65

Thanks for the quick reply...
I took the door apart and tried to unscrew the two gold screws that are located one on each side of the silver bar-thing holding up the window. The screws will not budge. In fact, the head of one was starting to get stripped.
Any suggestion how to not strip the screws so I can get them off and try to put my window up? Also, when I get a new regulator, does that include the silver wire that seems to pull the window up and down? I noticed mine is fraying where I can see it from to top of the door panel. I don't know if this is causing my problem or not. I guess another question is "Is it most likely a new regulator that I need?
Thanks,
