New to Q (1994)

[SIZE=3][FONT=palatino linotype] Hey all! New owner of a '94 Q45 (previously piloted a '92 G20) and have a few Q's for the Q owners who might be able to help me out with some hints/tips:

1. strong exhaust odor present in the car at times, and also after it's been shut off hours later
2. check engine idiot light indicator always on
3. engine idling is rough while in drive/park

With your engine light on and rough engine idle you best luck is to start by checking your O2 sensors but with your exhaust problem that's what I call the sweet smell of car.
