Diesel-fied MPV?

Hi

Anyone know what Diesel engine will fit in an MPV? I've heard that the MPV is based on the 929 chasis and that some Ford Ranger diesel engines were made by mazda in the early '80s. Any other ideas/resources?

I read that diesel powered mpv's were sold in Sweden.

what about vw engines. like an old diesel out of a rabbit

if you dont mind my asking why would you put a die
sel in a mpv?
