Leaky Trunk?! HELP!

It's been rainin' a lot here in Tennessee, and I have a problem. My trunk leaks! It looks like the leak only affects a small area to the left side of my trunk, but I am not sure exactly where it is coming from. Not to mention that where you keep the spare tire, that compartment is flooded with water. I don't know what to do and I am gettin' ready to drive to the stealership right now...

I was talkin' to one of my friends about it and they told me that they had the same problem with their Grand Am. I asked what they did to fix it and they traded it. I don't have that luxury at the moment.

Any suggestions toward a fix? It'd be appreciated.

Maybe there is just a problem with the seal that's around the decklid. Let us know what they find out at the dealership.

From what I can tell, it looks like moisture gathers up around the top of the trunk, mostly on the left side. I see moisture around the screws holding my spoiler. They seem tight enough, but I have no clue. My car is just a p.o.s. A nice p.o.s., but still a p.o.s. I just got my intake manifold gasket replaced and filled up my tank full of gas. When my car runs, it seems to leak gas and I have absolutely no gas mileage at all what so ever. I nearly passed out trying to drive it home because the fumes were so strong. The people said they had no idea why it would be leaking gas because they didn't mess with anything that involved gas. Any answers anyone?

That's b.s. because you have to remove the fuel lines, among others, to replace the lower intake manifold gasket. Something isn't right...

Ours had water in the trunk too. I suggest taking the back seat out and checking under there also. We currently have a pool of water under the seat. We had to replace the jute that sits under the seat because of mold. The seatbelts are absorbing the moisture and I had to disenfect them too. We thought we had solved the problem by sealing the entire rear window (silicone), but just this week we have more water in there.
