2001 Dakota dropped dead

While driving home, my Dakota 3.9 went thud and died, no power, Dealer changed out pcm, no help, displays "no-bus" in information window on dash. Any ideas, dealer says hes stumped, help please. Thank you :disappoin

no bus means that there is no communication between the modules...Was there a reason why he replaced the pcm?? Possible you ccd bus line in one of the modules could be shorted which is causing the bus line to go down...can the drb scanner communicate with the pcm??

:smile: good news, dealership called and stated that they tracked it down to a bad cam sensor..........lord I hate computer controlled ignition systems. I think if we went back to points, condensor, cap and rotor technology, we could get away from 300.00 tune ups. Thanks for the reply......Mike :banghead:
