i have an '89 prelude 2.0 SI and eventually i would like to modify it. i don't want a huge fart pipe or monsterous wing, but i would like to get some parts for it, new exhaust maybe being one of them. i have looked at a couple sites, ludespeed.com, being one of them and it didnt have anything for my year. any help would be appreciated.

i have the same car and have done a few minor mods to it. one i put a 3" glass pack exhaust for $100, a WeaponR intake $200, and plan on putting a b16 V-tec head on it $1000. Over all i've found that parts for this car are hard to find but i found that if you want a cold air intake for the Lude an AEM cold air intake for a '92-'95 Civic fits perfectly. :)

hmm...
i have one of those cars...

anything for an intake you can find, go to www.ludespeed.com he has an intake, turbo, camber kits, body kit, and he used to do a vtec head swap... his was 2500 bucks, so ask him about it...

also check out the www.hondaprelude.com reference section for 3gens...

also www.turbolude.com

nothing bigger than 2.25 in exh on a n/a motor... too much flow...

oh... how are you getting a vtec head swap for only 1k?
i figured with parts and all the labor it would run me close to 3k, especially with ludespeed's in depth parts... and he redrilled the head for everything...
you also have to dyno tune b/c it has a new ecu etc, and the car needs to be tuned to get the ecu and the motor (bottom end) to work together...

talk to tom at ludespeed about it...
