hi, I have a 97 Voyager V6 3.0L
The A/C was making a loud squeel every time I turned it on. After a couple of days it stopped and My A/C stopped working. I checked the belt and found it to be missing. So I had a new belt installed and the A/C worked again. Acouple of days later, the squeel came back, so I had the belt tightened, and that fixed it for a while.
Then the A/C stopped working. The belt is still there, tight, but no A/C. It doesn't even make that "click" sound when I turn it on. nothing.
Can anyone please help me with some advice on this. I cant afford to take it to the dealer again

was there any weird smell coming from the vents of the ac at any time...Possible low refrigerant...

ummm no I dont think so... would that cause the AC to quit completely? if the refrigerant was low?
I was thinking maybe a fuse or relay? what do you think?

Most of the times it is due to low refrigerant... These caravans are known to leak from either the evap coil or the right bottom side of the condensor...But is could also be a electrical problem...

no. low refrigerant would not cause a belt squeal..a loose/worn belt or worn compressor clutch would cause this...

...or bearings in the compressor itself.
squeel = bigger problem usually unless it involves the auto-tensioner.
