Performance of V6 vs. SVT Focus.

In my opinion.......is it just me or does the V6 have performance to match the SVT Focus? Straight line the V6 can get to 60 in the high 6's or so.......better than an SVT Focus. And it costs so much less. Any opinions? I just thought of it today with my frend.....he drove a V6 and said it was AMAZING feeling. And then i had the thought that maybe the V6 stang is just as good as an SVT FOcus.

Ummm I'm not sure about that one. A V6 stang runs a little over $20,000? Every SVT focus I saw was around $17,000.

To answer your question, the stang will beat a focus in a straight line. When it comes to handling though a focus will kill a stang in the corners. I think SVT put a racing type suspension on the focus that makes it one of the best handling cars around.

v6 is about 18k, same as the SVT (ive seen some svts marked at 22k, mrsp is 18)

the svt will out handle the v6 since it was designed to be a more over all performance car then the v6.

in the 1/4 quite a few people have gotten the SVT to run 15.3-4 good drivers in a v6 will hit about 15.5-6. the svt is also more of a luxory designed car.

is that canadian or american? no way a focus SVT can be $17,000 canadian. the V6 stang comes to a $19,995 canadian here.

Cool, so a V6 is faster in straight. but yea i guess you cant expect super suspension in a standard stang. teh SVT is a track oriented vehicle.

umm going by actual drivers its a tie or svt winning, i just said that
