THROW OUT BEARING or Clutch???

I have a 99 Civic EX 5 speed. My car still runs strong, but i have a metal grinding/scraping sound coming from the transmission for about a week now. it happens as i let off the clutch pedal when I downshift into 2nd or 1st at slow speeds(15-20mph). It started out doing it only when I downshift, but now I can hear it while gears are engaged and I'm accellerating. It's definitely louder while I downshift. Nothing abnormal happens, clutch feels as it always has, just this annoying, worrying sound. Please help me figure this out and recommend what my best course of action would be.
Thanks

It might be your syncros.

It might be your syncros.
yeah may be your syncros. if it grinds save youre syncros & double clutch.

Turns out it was the input shaft bearing. Everything else still looked fine. Thanks for the replies.

Mine cost just under $600. I haven't had a problem since.
