De Sol Engine Swap

Hi. Have a stock 93 Del sol SI. Transm sync are bad and need some repair to CV and wheel bearing. Before I spent money fixing it I'm loking into the pros and cons of installing a more powerful engine and trany. Know little about Honda engines. Like the 1.8 CRX engine. Is there a website that can provide the basic answers., i.e. degree of difficulty, complications, weight dif, cost, other sggested swaps. Thanks for the help.

There is no 1.8 CRX engine. Other than that look in the '92-'95 Civic forum for the engine swap thread at the top/

yeah so i also have a del slow its nearly stock but isnt an si its an s , i have done my research and you should be able to put any b-series engine into a del sol no problem engine mounts are the same and tranny should mount up i dont know for sure but am looking to put a B16A3 which is the v-tec engine for a sol, or a B16B which is pushing 185 horse power and 118 torque torque could be better but is reasonable

I have a 1992 Del Sol with a JDM Integra 1800 vtec, 5speed, LSD. Goes like a cut cat.

no the stock tranny will not bolt up to a b16.
