What would your dream car be? details would be appreciated.

Stock: Ferrari 360 Challenge Stradale

Race Tuned: Toyota MR-S 2004 Hardtop, 2ZZ-GE w/ BPU's and a little tuning. Widebody kit, weight reduction, and a nice tuned balance between the dampeners, brakes, suspension and tires.

Drag: A restored 1968 Dodge Charger 440 R/T, w/ approx 650RWHP.

In fact, with a Mclaren Mercedes SLR, all of those would make one HECK of a garage...

Dream car?

Maybe the New Honda Legend. It looks good, sounds like good to drive. The first one to break the gentlemen's agreement of 280ps.
And the Mugen version of it just made me fell in love for it...

I think right now for me my dream car would be a stock yellow Dodge Viper SRT-10.
But a little more realistically an LS1 F-body running low 11's as my daily driver would be awesome. That's asuming I live somewhere that there's no snow, or I have a decent winter vehicle.

it's hard to say but right now i would say a twin turbo C5 vette for the daily driver and the Pagani Zonda for the weekend warrior. Love the sound of that V-12.

The only thing that sounds better than the roar of an american V-8 is the scream of a european V-12.

For me, a late-1930's or 1940's Delage or Delahaye with Henri Chapron coachwork; mechanicals from a Grand Prix racer (de-tuned) wrapped up in some of the sexiest bodies ever.

I'd settle for a modern copy of the same, maybe powered by a BMW six...

Alas, when they come up for sale, they usually change hands for 7-digit prices. :eek7:

Ill have to see when the F430 CS makes the debut though. I go to ebaymotors just to sit and stare at the 360CS, its so beautiful.

more realisticly what I want is maybe a late 90's 355

id want the ferrari 360 like above, but I'd want it in a dark, metallic, charcoal, and make those rims hyper black with a chrome lip. And of course If I could afford that, then I would also have a JL W7 fiberglassed in there, and have a whole new dash built custom to my own design so it would have at least a 7 inch screen in dash, visor screens, and of course, a fully functional, motorized and spot lighted disco ball in the center of the ceiling. helllllll yeah!!

I think realisticly, mine would have to be the new 2005 Acura RL, they made a good choice by boosting up horsepower from 210 to 300 (for the people that complained about not having enough power), and adding the most advanced All Wheel Drive system on the market today (for the people that complained about the older models being front wheel drive.) Now in fantasy world i would want the new Chrysler ME12... O-60 in under 3 seconds and pushing out 850 Hp!!!
Heres a sight with a picture.

the RL is pretty sweet but from the side it highly resembles the accord sedan. I would take one though, also about that chrysler, I had a mag where they tested it, most likely was automobile or road and track cuz those are usually the ones Id buy if I was at the stand.

they had limited the power down to around 450HP though so that the tranny would make it through the day gauranteed(was a one-off item) so it wasnt anywhere what they claim it can be but they had the results of the power it made without the limited power output and man thats a beast. I wish I still knew where the mag was, man ive bought so many and just looked in my mag stack and could only find 2 R&T's from 99 and 2k and a recent automobile mag. not sure where they all went. I cant believe Ive thrown them away, I mean if I dont throw away CSM I couldnt toss automobile and road and track.

The Aston Martin V12 Vanquish S. British Racing Green

Pure, unadultrated class. And if someone in a ricer pulls up and wants to race, you just have to roll down the window, run one finger along the dash and make the ole two-fingers-rubbing-together money sign, cause the car you're driving is worth more than his car with every mod in the book. Plus it would still blow his doors off! :evillol:

As for a pure race car, maybe the Oreca Viper, I don't know. Something scary as hell anyway. Someone mentioned Zonda back there? That would certainly do . . .

Kurtdg19
01-17-2005, 08:26 PM
Realistically speaking, an Nring tuned Z06. I have a soft spot for this car. Of coarse there are negative sides to it, but I've accepted the sacrifice that I would make in owning it. To me there is no better feeling than having the seat of your pants glued to the seat with a big old V8. It has all the character I need in a sports car.

Inrealistically speaking, I can indulge on any bubble that pops up in my head. I'll have a RUF RGT with a few extra go fast goodies thank you very much. Could I also get one of those girls that pose in the low rider mags with it? What more could a man ask for...

Sounds boring but an Enzo or Porsche Carerra GT. I think that they are all gone - :disappoin - and they wouldn't be legal here on aussie roads which sucks, but no one else would have one.

My commodore fully modded would be my only other dream car - were talking 1000+ rwhp, set up for race, and have show winning looks. Oh yeah, and scissor doors.

I'll have a Lancia Delta Integrale Evo II, if I did get one it'd be one of about 3 in NZ, as opposed to 5000948530495803495834058 WRX's and Lancer Evo's.

Though I've always quite admired the idea of getting a 288 GTO Ferrari or a Porsche 959.
