ignition output signal

for anyone who knos what an ignition output signal is can you let me kno, because my ECU is blinkin 15 times and that is the ignition output signal thing, what ever that is, so if anyone knos what that is can u let me know, its an 88 Si

u should look it up in a shop manual u might find some help in there
