Engine struggling to startup

Hi i live in northern idaho and its about high 30s in the morning when i leave for work. every morning i start my car up it struggles to start. why is this. what can i do to fix this prob?

maybe its your ignition coil! check to see the condition of the sparkplugs, wires and ignition coil. I assume you already checked the starter motor (they hessitate before the burn out most of the time).

Its your battery. If it is giving you a hard time on cold mornigs you either need more CCA's(cold cranking amps) or the battery is just weak.

Battery is the first thing, the second thing to check would be your oil...if you're running the specified 20W-50 oil in that cold of weather, you'll have start up issues because the oil is so thick, change to 10W-30 for winter, and change back come spring. If you don't know what that means print this out, go to you're local auto store, give it to them, and say I want some of those. lol
