haha, my GS doesn't have enough power to do burnouts. But, if you want to do it:
auto: your left foot on the brake and your right foot on the gas and rev your car up to at least 4000rpm while your left foot is still on the brakes. Now, release the brakes and at the same time, floor your car. You should do a burnout with that.
5-speed: Much easier, put the car in first with the clutch engaged, rev your engine to about 4000rpm, and then release the clutch and floor your car. you should do a burn out.

If you have a 5 speed just rev it up to about 6k dump the cluch and pound the gas. In my GS I can do burnouts for ever.

Pull The E-brake Up, Rev It Up Til Like 5000, Hold The Clutch Up Til It Catches But Hold The Clutch, Then It'll Start Spinnin...drop The E-brake And Floor It!!!

Test It Out Lemme Know If It Works...that's What I Do...

You want to perform a show of power, a burnout, in a low powered GS? You didn't want to spend extra money for a GST, but you want to spend money on extra tires?

Good luck spinning one tire, it's going to be a bitch on your transmission, is it automatic too? :)

Never, Ever, Ever, under any circumstances put a Auto transmission in Neutral, Rev it up and then drop it into Drive. You will blow mess something up ive seen it done b4. lol

funny, cuz my gs is auto and it couldn't do a burnout if poured oil all over the tires, just not enough power man, maybe cuz some of you guys have a m/t you could chirp them, but a real burn out...come on

ebrake is the easiest way to burn out, auto or 5sp.

Thats prob what you dont want to do in an auto car. E brake is the easiest way to burnout.

All I do is push the gas pedal down, pretty simple really. Somewhere around 500 whp the tires just break free in 1st and 2nd. Even in 3rd the car is a handful. Beats all those other fancy techniques  No smoke though, too much traction. :(

get yourself some bald front tires and find yourself a big patch of black ice, put your seat belt on, and stay away from my car as your doing it, unless your insured.

With all the posts of pulling up the e-brake and floor the car. I have not had a car with strong enough e-brakes that would actually hold my still while I step on the gas. I always just start creeping. Maybe its just me :screwy:

You could always put your car on jackstands...

Hop into your car and floor it all the way...

Then have someone kick the stands out from under you!!!

NEVER DO A NEUTRAL DROP!!! I know the perils... Your motor mounts will start to give and you could possibly kill your tranny... Now, the tried and true way that I'VE done a burnout with an auto is:
1. Hold the break as far down as you can with the e-brake up
2. Rev it to either 4000 rpms or higher
3. Get off the break like it's a piece of hot metal and floor it
4. After about 2 or 3 seconds, drop that e-brake...
