I got my front bar for my 03 GS from freedom design at a local car shop. Ebay has them, but dont get them from their. The rear one are easy to find. Which one are you looking for?

if you have a GT, the dont worry about the front one. it is better than any aftermarket one. if you want a rear one, go to http://www.roadraceengineering.com/3gsuspension.htm
its at the bottom of the page

dont waste your money on strut bars, they only help minimally! instead get a good set of sway bars. they will offer you the most noticeible performance. go for a 22 mm. too much bigger than that you run the risk of tearing out somthing. they work really good though!!! better money spent that a strut bar!

Strut tower bars DO help a car. Imagine a shoe box and when empty, how easily that twists. that is how your car's chassis twists. Now put a pen in between the walls and see how easily it twists. Big difference.
Strut tower bars keep the car flatter throughout the cornering.
Sway bars are also an excellent addition to help the cornering ability of the car.

stupid question time
Where do you place sway bars?
I have an 01 GT and I had kinda looked at the rear strut bar, but once you install it you can't remove it right? Because I tend to put a lot of stuff in my car (you'd be amazed at what can fit in an eclipse) and the rear strut bar would get in the way.

yes you can take the strut bar off. with the sway bar, it goes across the rear axle

well the strut, you've got to take ur wheel off, then unattach it at the hub, then find the strut tower and take off the bolt there (just a little tricky on the rear)...you most likely won't want to do this yourself if your having to ask the question. its something i had to learn at a friend's shop and i wouldn't do it again w/o him being there and it will require (at least it did on the acura we did) a few tools not found ina normal toolbox
the strut bar has a few bolts...undo them...it should come off
BTW about the original topic, can't GS/RS guys just mount up a GT frnt strut tower bar??
