thats the same way mine is,custom 2 1/4 expanded to 2 1/2 then expanded to fit inside 3inch mandel bent down pipe to 3inch all the way out to a apexi n1 muffler. oh and mine sounds pretty good but not as loud as the veilside muffler i had on it a while back.

3" is too big... You need more horsepower for that. I switched from 2.5" to 3" when i turbo'd and i really felt a difference, but going to 3" might be too much

i will be put on the turbo very soon so i will probably go 3 inches

no,just get a muffler of your choice and i was just saying that the veilside was louder than the apexi n1.if you dont have a good muffler shop that likes to do custom pipe, then i would suggest to get a down pipe like an apexi, busher,or one of your choice and have custom pipe made to go from the down pipe out to your desired muffler of choice.

3 inch is perfect if your going for a later turbo upgrade...more boost creep, but less lag

red line, know the basics before you start something, like what is a piston ring for starters and what does it do, dont start talking turbo and all that before you know hte baseics.
