1996 Ranger engine swap question

I would like to swap out my 4 cyl. with a 4.0 V6. Will the 4.0 match up with my trans. and what do i need to change out?

You'll need to change out just about damn near everything.

you will need to change the engien and computer and mounting brackets .... he he have fun and lots of $$$$$. they (the ford dealership) wanted 10K for me to put a 5.0 in my ranger and that was with me already having everything (parts) needed to replace it
