Cruise Control problems

Hey guys,

I recently had my headgasket replaced and now my cruise control isnt working properly.....I am able to set it but I cannot accelerate using the cruise switch..any idea what the problem might be....would a tune up help me out?

if the cruise control works completely fine except for the fact that the accel button won't work, it's a problem with the actual cruise control (like the wiring or buttons) a tune up shouldn't make a difference at all; at least as far as the cruise control is concerned

I was talking to someone else and they mentioned something about it possibly being the vacum hose....could that be the case?

that would be a good place to start. the best part is that vaccuum line is only like $.25 a foot. that's a cheap fix.

Yea that would prolly be the cause of the problem. I never have used my cruise control since i bought my car. maybe i should see if it works sometime...lol
