the phone i have right now i'm able to make my own ringers and send them to me in a picture message. it's pretty cool.

I just connect my phone to the pc via USB. Cut clips from mp3s and on they go.

mine's the stock nextel ring, never been interested in changing it, don't even know how.

You can use a program called BitPim to convert. It allows you to change sound quality, etc. Google it.
