87 Lesabre runs rough, stalls, EGR code

I have had an engine light code 32 that won't go away even after replacing the EGR/Throttle Position Sensor/Mass airflow sensor/and the thingy that the coil packs plug into. (sorry, can't remember what it is called). Crank case sensor has been replaced also.

The car runs rough, bucks and stalls until it is has been run for 15 minutes or so. Also, the gas pedal sticks until it is warmed up.

Anything else to check? My mechanic can't figure it out, and I can't keep putting all this cash into this old car!

Well if the throttle is sticking then you probably need to clean the throttle body itself, with air intake or carb cleaner. But i'm thinking for your other problem, the MAP sensor could be bad.

You might try resetting the ECM. This will clear out any old codes. To do so, disconnect the battery for about 60 seconds.

32. EGR system fault

double check the EGR system, including the passiges in the head. check for carbon build-up, if there is clean with carb and choke cleaner

Thanks everyone for replying so quickly.
Yogi123rd: Resetting the computer doesn't help, but thanks!

Sierrap615: I will try cleaning the egr system, as well.

Well, I went back to my mechanic, who removed the mass flow air sencor he installed and refunded me some of my money. I gave him the suggestions that were posted, and he said that my buick does not have a MAP sensor, and the other suggestions wouldn't do any good and I should get rid of the car. I am going to keep investigating on my own, however. I am not ready to send the car to the junkyard yet.

I will keep you posted. Please... if anyone has any new ideas, I would like to hear them.

Hi
I have a 94 LeSabre with 216,000 miles on it and struggled with this problem since last dec. Up until about a week ago i never got an EGR code, Then when I got the EGR Pintel circuit code with a random miss noted in the history section on the scanner, I went to the local wrecking yard found an identical replacement on a pontiac I might add, Paid $45.00 ($180.00 new) and was amazed when I started it the problem was solved, It's been a week now and No Stumble or miss on Coasting, Sometimes you just have to take a chance and sometimes you get lucky, hope this helps.
Rick
PS
The pontiac had 126,000 miles on it.

Rick,

I'm not sure I understand which part you pulled from the pontiac... the computer or the EGR? I have already replaced the EGR with no luck. Thanks!

Sorry about that if I had read your post closer i would have realized that, I changed the EGR and it seem's that was my problem so I wanted to share it with you.
Good luck i hope you find it.
Rick
