:smokin: howdy all, I have read almost all the threads before posting this. I just picked up a 96 eclipse rs and was wondering what to do to give it a little more ummph. now before you all start bashing the car please bear in minde I picked this up to drive while I over haul and paint my 305 4bbl firebird. I'm not a racer just looking for a little more pick up at take off so I feel more at home any advise ?

I would also like to know this.....
Also, have you thought about turbo charging? A kit will cost you around $3k and you can only run 8psi on that stock 420a you got, but its supposedly will run 13.70's on a 1/4 mile and have 250-275hp at the crank with only and exaust and that turbo. But im sure that would be to expensive fo you at the moment since your doing that FireBird....So I dunno besides like headers, intake, exaust, cams, etc. Just the little stuff.
BTW, if you wanna know more about that turbo kit.....its made by hahn racecraft, its the stage2 kit.

thanks for the list, yes I have thought about going turbo but the other threads I have read led me to think it wasn a wast of time since any time any one has asked they get bashed and told to buy another car. I will look into it and thanks again

The first things to do are allow the engine to breath more, ie exhaust headers back, and a CAI. I don't know alot about N/T's but that seems like the logical choice. Or you could always go with one of the cheap nitrous kits. I think with a small shot, you can get away without any other supporting mods (but don't quote me on that )
